Generic prompts leave too much to guess. Name the task, context, audience, format, and checks. For the basics, read Katbi’s Claude guide.
A prompt pattern that works
Anthropic’s prompt engineering overview recommends clear success criteria and testing. Use this compact pattern:
- Task: what Claude must produce or change.
- Context: the approved facts, source text, or file.
- Audience: who will use the result.
- Format: headings, bullets, length, or fields.
- Checks: assumptions to flag, facts to verify, and information not to invent.
Replace the bracketed fields and test on a small, non-sensitive example.
Three useful templates
Draft from a brief
Draft a [content type] about [topic] for [audience]. Use only the approved information below. Write in clear Arabic, use a [tone] tone, and follow this structure: [format]. Do not invent prices, dates, features, or evidence. End with a short list of assumptions and missing details.
Summarize a non-sensitive file
Summarize the attached non-sensitive file in [language] in about [length] words. Start with the purpose, then list the key findings, decisions, dates, and open questions. Cite the section or page when available. Separate what the file states from your interpretation. Write “not stated” instead of guessing.
Check a previous answer
Review your previous answer for factual support, completeness, calculations, and fit with the original request. Return four sections: supported by the supplied context, needing external verification, possibly missing, and recommended edits. Do not call the answer correct simply because it sounds plausible.
Use these for briefs or replies. For file work, use non-sensitive data and check account privacy terms first.
Projects and Artifacts
Projects can hold recurring instructions, files, and context for one topic. Save approved facts and a voice guide there. Knowledge and sharing options depend on the account and plan.
For a standalone document, dashboard, design, or small interactive tool, ask for an Artifact. Editing, export, connected apps, and sharing vary, so review permissions before using external data.
Adapt the templates
- Replace every bracket with a concrete audience, goal, and source.
- Add one approved example when voice or formatting matters.
- Ask for uncertainty and assumptions in a separate section.
- Review facts, numbers, links, and code before publication or a business decision.
FAQ
Is there a larger Arabic template library?
The Arabic bundle has a 12-chapter guide, 30 editable prompts, and a seven-day workbook.
Is the bundle made by Anthropic?
No. It is an independent Katbi product. It excludes a Claude subscription, API credit, video training, personal support, and lifetime updates.
Can these prompts guarantee accurate answers?
No. They improve clarity and review structure; facts, calculations, sources, and code still need human checking.
